This kit will equip you with the skills and knowledge to create a unique lampshade that reflects your style. You will learn how to apply fabric to the PVC and how to secure it to the rings to achieve a polished and long-lasting finish.
The kit includes self-adhesive lampshade PVC, a set of drum rings with Australian standard fitting, double-sided Orafol tape, a roll edge tool, a step-by-step instruction booklet and optional acid-free glue.
To customize your lampshade, you will need to provide approximately 1 metre x 40/50cm of your chosen fabric, depending on the size of your kit, preferably quilting-weight cotton. Larger prints may require a larger piece of fabric to ensure the best part of the pattern fits the shade. See the instruction booklet on creating a template that you can take to the fabric store!
The kit is available in three sizes:
- 25cm Ø x 25cm tall
- 30cm Ø x 25cm tall
- 35cm Ø x 27cm tall
- with customizable heights available upon request.
No prior experience or skills are necessary to use the kit.
