Introduction To Ceramics - Make & Decorate a Mug Workshop

There's almost nothing better than drinking your morning cuppa from a handmade mug! Join us for this fun three-hour workshop in which you will learn how to hand-build and decorate your very own mug! This workshop is perfect for beginners!

You will form a mug and add a handle using the slab technique and templates. You will then decorate your mug using glaze and a variety of decorating techniques such as:

• Stamping 
• Paper stencil resist
• Sgraffito
• Texturing
• Slip decorating
• Layering

All materials and tools are provided. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting messy.

Please note: Your final pieces will be fired after the workshop and can be collected from the studio or arranged to be posted for an additional cost.
