In this beginner-friendly pottery class, you'll discover the techniques needed to create a unique vase using the coil method. Then, let your creativity shine as you decorate your pieces with our extensive collection of underglazes and dipping glazes, or try your hand at the sgraffito technique.

This hands-on workshop is designed to be fun and engaging, perfect for beginners new to ceramics. Don't worry if you've never worked with clay before; our expert instructor will guide you every step of the way. You'll be amazed at what you can create with your two hands!

All materials and tools will be provided in the class, so just come dressed in clothing you don't mind getting messy. Once the workshop is complete, your final pieces must be fired in the kiln. You can either collect them from the studio or have them posted to you for an additional cost.

Join us for this transformative workshop, where you'll not only learn new skills but also create beautiful pieces to treasure. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and have a unique experience in Melbourne.

After this workshop, you may like to try one of our other ceramics workshops.

Please note: Final pieces will be fired in our kiln and can be collected from the studio or arranged to be posted for an additional cost once finished.

The Studio ensures every effort is taken to guarantee the survival of your work through the unpredictable ceramics process. However, the Studio can not be held liable for potential losses in the kiln firing.

About the teacher
"Linh started her pottery journey in 2012 when she joined her friends in the community classes in Thornbury! After six months went to classes, Linh spends most of her time practising pottery at her home studio. Linh loves making functional ware such as cups, plates, planters, and flower vases. In the last few years, she has focused on making boob vessels and teaching people how to make them. Linh hopes her whimsical works will bring happiness to others."
