Friday Favourites!

Baby Alfie
Just over a week ago I became Aunty Nic with the early arrival of my brothers son Alfie. So to celebrate today we're dedicating Friday Favourites to all things baby!

Baby Onesie Tutorial

Omi Creates has this great detailed tutorial for making a onesie for your little one.  Naomi has a free 6 month sized pattern available.  It uses very little fabric and could be a great way to use up scraps of jersey or old t-shirts.

Duffle Coat

Duffle Coat #2

Leisl knitted up this cute little duffle coat from 'The Ultimate Book of Baby Knits' by Debbie Bliss for her nephew last year. It's her 'Go To' gift for all the new arrivals in her life.

Briar Bunny

As a mother of 3 I know how important a special friend is to a little one. From experience I find having exact copies of the special friend can come in quite handy when one needs a wash or wears out or is lost. Yes, I've traced our steps on many occasions to find special teddies!
Briar is a sweet little bunny which can be knitted up quite quickly using very little yarn. I'd suggest choosing a super soft yarn that can be rubbed on sweet cheeks at bedtime.

DIY Baby Blocks

Wren Handmade shows us how to make these great little baby blocks. They're a great way to use up all those scraps of fabric left over from bigger projects and a lovely way to keep baby entertained.
