Handmaker's Factory

Scout Tee Class Recap

We hosted our second Scout Tee class on Saturday where Kate and Maria spent the day measuring, pattern altering, cutting and sewing. As you can see, by the end of the day they both had their dresses finished! I was particularly impressed with Maria who emailed me before the class to say she is a beginner. From her smile in the photo I'd say she's pretty impressed with herself too!

We are about to upload a whole lot of new classes to our class list including more project sewing, sewing and knitting techniques, machine knitting, social knitting/sewing and more! So keep your eyes peeled.

If you would like to learn to knit we have a class this Saturday. You will be taught the basics of knitting, shown how to read a pattern, taught the different types of yarn and how to knit different stitch patterns. For those of you looking to improve your skills we can tailor the class to suit your needs. Left handed? No worries, we can teach you too!

Don't forget, if you'd like to have your say about the kinds of classes we teach here at Handmaker's Factory we encourage you to fill out this survey. It takes a matter of minutes and will assist us in offering you the kind of classes you want to attend.
