Friday Favourites-Vintage Style Bathers

We have had a little taste of some warmer weather here in Melbourne so of course our minds are turning to sewing for the warmer months. We thought we might get started with our favourite vintage style swimwear patterns!

The Bombshell swimsuit is modeled on the 1950's classic silhouette. The pattern includes 3 variations in 8 sizes: a gathered bust maillot, a halter neck, and a high waist bottom which you can mix and match with your favourite bikini top. Chek out the sewalong here!

This pin-up style bathing suit is designed by Kitschycoo. She has a series of posts showing you how to'measure', 'draft' and 'sew' this super cute suit.

The Ginger body suit pattern by Ohhh Lulu is designed to be cut into a one piece bathing suit or two piece bikini. It can also be sewn up as underwear and sleepwear. I'm in love with this pattern! Ohhh Lulu has a series of sewalong posts which you can find here.

The Dianne swimsuit is a 1950's style with a sweetheart neckline, shoulder straps, gathering on the bust, a fitted waist and boyleg pants. With this drafting system you can draft yourself a pattern in any size!
