Friday Favourites-Summer Frocks!

Well Melbourne certainly switched on the weather for spring didn't it?! My wardrobe full of layering winter clothes is in need of a revamp and some summer frocks are in order. I've picked out a few favourites and one of Leisl's too!

I love this floaty dress with a tulip shaped skirt by Victory patterns which can be made using a solid fabric or a mix of fabrics to give a contrasting look. And the fact that it is called Nicola is an added bonus!

The Cambie dress from Sewaholic is one of my favourites. I love both the full skirt and the a-line skirt versions and I think I may have to sew both! And of course a dress with pockets gets my vote.

The Hazel dress by Colette Patterns is first in line on my summer sewing list. A quick and easy dress which has a flattering V-seamed bodice which can let you play around with patterned fabrics.

Leisl is making up another version of her Cabbage Dress made from Simplicity pattern 1803. A truly versatile pattern that offers so many options that you could make at least one for each day of the week and have them all look different! Value for money? I'd say so!
