It seems wide leg pants or Palazzo pants as they're also known are pretty darn popular right now. This is a trend I'm happy to try out so I've picked out a few of my favourite sewing patterns to share with you so you too can make your own!
Mimigstyle made up these awesome printed wide leg pants with pockets using Burda pattern 7195. A perfect example of looking past the daggy photo on the pattern envelope! I would never have thought this pattern could look this good.
Make up McCall's 6514 in jersey for a casual and comfortable look. A cropped version is also included in the pattern which would look fab made up in a floaty silk.
McCall's patterns 6515 is a great simple and versatile pattern. With a waistband and side zip fastening these could be made up for work or play. I love how they look in a printed fabric.
If you're looking for a loose fitting pant that's not so wide in the leg the Lola pattern from Style Arc. With an elasticated waist and cuff and pockets these are most definitely a favourite of mine.
These wide leg pants designed by Sandra Betzina have great yoke, cuff and gathering details. They can also be made without the cuff producing a wider legged pant.
How is a girl to choose?! Which are your favourite? Or do you have a tried and true pattern?
