Friday Favourites - Slipper Patterns

I climbed out of bed this morning to the sound of rain falling heavily outside. It was dark and my kitchen floor was cold! The first thought that popped into my head was 'I need slippers, pronto!'. So, here are some favourite patterns that you too could make to keep those tootsies warm though winter.

Non-felted Slippers by Yuko Nakamura

If you're a knitter maybe these simple toasty slippers made from super bulky yarn?

I'm favouring this sewing pattern by Woolybaby that utilises scraps of fabric and lets be honest, I have plenty of those! A leather sole would be great for warmth and non slip too.

The Jess Flats by Mamachee

Crochet your thing? Try the Jess Flats with their cute bows!

How quick and easy would these slippers be to make?! I searched high and low for a source for this image but found nothing, not that you really need a pattern or tutorial to make them. Just make sure you make a left and a right!Lace Toms/EspadrillesAnother cute pattern for the crocheters out there.Cord soles can be added to these slippers to make them sturdy and even transform them into street shoes. You can purchase the pattern on its own or with added pattern for the cord soles.

Ballet style slippers

These ballet style slippers are quick and easy to knit up in a 10 ply yarn and the pattern is free!

Which will you make to keep your feet warm? I'm going to use the scraps in my stash and use the sewing pattern by Woolybaby. Some woolly slippers would be nice too though. Oh if only there were more hours in the day!
