Joseph Centofanti, Checchino Fonticoli and Nino Corvato share not only an Italian heritage but also their love of fine tailoring. All honed their craft from a young age, with their profession eventually taking them around the world.
Both Centofanti and Corvato settled in the USA, running their own specialist tailoring businesses. Fonticoli, however, devoted his working life to growing Brioni into the internationally renowned tailoring powerhouse it is today. All agree that tailoring was a lifelong calling, not just a job.
Filmmaker Vicki Vasilopoulos follows these tailors over several years as each face the reality of maintaining a traditional craft in a not-so-traditional world. Cleverly intertwining these compelling stories with the three stages of making a hand tailored custom suit, Vasilopoulos crafts a fitting tribute to these fine gentlemen of the cloth.
